There are two ways that addresses can be included in Situs: 1) If they are in unincorporated Seminole County, Lake Mary, Longwood, or Casselberry, a site plan is submitted to Seminole County Addressing. Addressing then compares the site plan to the existing Situs points, creates a Situs point and assigns an address. Attributes are hand entered except for ZIP, TAZ, and SO_KEY, which are auto-populated. 2) If the addresses are in Altamonte Springs, Sanford, Oviedo or Winter Springs, they are assigned by the city. The city then submits the addresses to the county for inclusion in Situs.
